It was great to see Harriton High school win a blue ribbon for their window box and hanging basket -- way to go Harriton!
I went in early to help maintain my garden club's entry. We were in the "under $1000" to install group and won a yellow and red ribbons in the two different judgings -- missing out to the Barnes foundation who I was also pleased to see do so well.
I thought our "Weeders" club entry was very clever, paths lined with marigolds and lettuce, recycled tubs of ruby chard, vines growing up a trellis that looked like a gigantic wheel and stools made out of disused bikes. On wit alone it was a blue ribbon winner!
